Lot healthier to walk and better for the dog but all inventions have their downside
But the problem is with most inventions like a milking parlour . They result in expansion. Less farms less workers and the loss of communities. The only beneficiary being tumble weed

More repurposed than invented, but the syringe and catheter as stomach tube kit for lambs has to be well up the list.

Bale twine made of plastic is a bloody blight on the countryside. If you ask me the stuff should be banned and the NFU should find a supplier of sisal and champion it's use. Fudging plastic twine finds it's way everywhere.
