I’m looking at a pumping station at the moment for my house and was told last week that a maceraeter pump is overkill for domestic applications, a good spec vortex pump is fine. I looking at some like the below, a useful website. There’s another called tanks direct https://www.tanks-direct.co.uk/waste-water-tanks/waste-water-pumps/sewage-pumps/c1039

Big old tank that... Are you pumping to a main, or a septic tank away from the site?

I would worry if said pump was being fed by Tenants though..... ;)
