She’s certainly a machinery lover, 4yrs in the seed head on combi drill, once in the combine header, once tucked behind the starter on a tractor and now she’s taken a fancy to the sprayer

Come to my fields then. I counted 126 this afternoon before I scared them off, back in less than 10 minutes.

We farm right next to a large reservoir and they prefer my wheat to getting cold bits in the water I think. They are all yearlings I am told and not breeding this year.

Geese are so determined about it.
Seems attractive to park a dog on the field, border collie seems like a nice choice... Not sure what a designed for geese Larsen trap with trailing/trialling border collie might look like - but give me some time and I might come up with something.

You could always pop round and run up and down a bit in the field.
It has been a bumper year for the wild garlic in the “wildlife friendly “, (overgrown and unkempt ! ), patch of garden next to the drive. I was very surprised to find this leveret hiding in amongst it yesterday, just a few yards from the back door.
I have seen an adult hare in the yard a couple of mornings at first light lately, this must be the reason.
