Bailey not my preferred brand (quality not as good Stewart or Larrington imo) and don’t really want a tri axle (weight and tyre scrub). does look value however so have made enquiries
the black Stewart linked looks good spec but not quite ideal cube capacity but again is value, unless we go new i think we may have to compromise somewhere however
Horsch titan 34 linked looked ideal but maybe sold !

we use artics on long hauls, only way to keep up with large combines, no use moving compost onto land through winter however or when carting corn closer to home

You won’t be able to buy “one trailer “ direct from a manufacture who has a dealer network . Why would they? Buy 100 and they may think differently
Depends on the manufacturer,I’ve just bought one direct,far cheaper than the dealer,I didn’t need finance or a trade in,so no need for a dealer.

Here’s a wee beauty that would solve your wet gear problem.. with the added advantage that you could get a bulker for her too,
A well priced lorry that would suit any farmer
we don’t run trucks (been their got the t shirt x13 ! ). have access to people far better at it but need a store tipping solution as most trucks we have access to don’t have wet kits
bulkers are also very cheap to hire and let someone else have the hassle of keeping them legal

not gonna dispute the quality claim, but a bailey will carry the same weight for the same amount of loads as a stewart for less money (assuming spec for spec, and excepting a couple extra rattle cans of paint for the bailey), so where does the extra value of a stewart or larrington come in? if it was hundreds £ then yeah id buy the best, but when its thousands to do the exact same thing i find myself thinking... exactly the same with "premium" tractors, yes they are better, but they arent worth the extra 25% cost
i would argue resale value but in the case of trailers thats less relevant for us as we tend to keel them a long time
as you say all will do the job, biggest difference is paint quality in my experience and Stewart do paint VERY well
We bought rear discharge direct saved alot of wad,cant remember how much as it was 10/11 year ago,not needed warranty/spares so all good.

Also by the time you throw 4 new tyres on to a used one you add a big lump on to the cost.
