Milking camels might really take off!

Before you know it everyone will be ripping out half their cubicles so the camels will fit in (still be sand beds of course) raising the parlour roof and importing breeding stock from the Middle East.

Just hope the Animal Rights lot don't realise that camels are not native to Britain.

so they should, lead is not good to eat , at all full stop.

theres none allowed in other food so why should birds be exempt?

theres no metal lumps in my lamb thats for sure.

and anway whats the delay? steel not so good for barrels? tough those that shoot got plenty of money
But nobody actually eats the lead. You feel it between your teeth when chewing and spit it out. But hard steel between your teeth is far less forgiving than soft lead, there goes another filling ! Ouch !

is not good to have lead sprayed around in the enviroment either , kills swans , picked up by waterfowl, waders etc.

its archaic and should be outlawed.

there's no lead or steel allowed to be left in my lamb i make sure of that.

Lead is not allowed for shooting ducks or geese, over SSSIs or on the foreshore. So there is very little opportunity for lead to fall where ducks and geese can pick it up. The vast majority of lead picked up by them is from before the ban.
Where is lead mined from ? Out of the ground, where it falls to when shot.
Yes lead is toxic, but this needs to be kept in perspective. So is arsenic and warfarin, but used at the right way are also medicines.
