Kids and toilets.

you’d think, given how obsessed they are with all things toilet related, that the little beggars would take a bit more pride in the conscientious operation of said device.

I mean, Christ alive, it’s like someone’s emptied a cement mixer in there. And they haven’t even flushed. Set solid it is with half a roll of paper masking the crime. We’ve missed the window in which the bog brush is any use as well. Might just have to seal the room off. 🤦‍♂️

Went to get a needle for an A/B jab. Needles are kept in a plastic compartment box probably 5 years old, which is kept in a cupboard out of sunlight and opened delicately perhaps once a month. Yesterday the box fell apart completely, hinges and catches in several pieces leaving needles all over the floor. My first thought was ******* Chinese cr*p, until I saw Made in the UK on the back of the box, which made me rather sad.

Not as bad as my aunt found one day.

She had been to sainsburys and returned to the car laden down with many carrier bags. She opened the boot to discover a dead calf inside from the day my uncle had borrowed her car several days before.
Slightly off topic.
If one uses the telehandler handler to pick up any dead stock, make sure you empty the bucket when you get back to the buildings, or reverse it in to a shed so that another operator may see the dead stock in the bucket before loading a grain lorry  ;)

As with other activities with the opposite sex there are times when it is wise to take precautions…🤣

Reminds me of the time I worked on site and one of the blokes used to sleep on a mattress in his van to save on B and B. Sometime his girlfriend would actually stay over with him in the van if he couldn’t get home for the weekend.
One morning he was climbing out and I noticed a large bag of sand in the back.
“What’s that for?”, I asked.
“Grip.” he replied.

In the days of driving around Europe all the road and bridge tolls could be paid on one dedicated card (all administered from Harrogate in North Yorkshire) - So why oh why do I need need separate accounts, some of which need a £15 per vehicle deposit for Tyne tunnel, Humber Bridge, Mersey Tunnel, Runcorn bridge, M6 toll, Dartford x-ing and Congestion charging, ULEZ, CAZ in 5 separate cities and the rest and a cash “float” in 8 different vehicles just in case.

Amazon Fire sticks.

Have stick. Have subscriptions to several extra channels/apps/whatevers. Still hardly any good old Western films available.

Surely they should be the easiest to stock and/or distribute?

Just because it says made in the UK on the label does not means is was made in the UK. It is just some Chinese sh1t with a made in the UK label on it which was probably stuck on in the chinese factory.
