What's the attraction with those ewes with lmbs at foot, surely most are old ewe that will be cast in the autumn, must have plenty of spare cash and grass these days.
Don’t know. It’s nothing new though. Old ewes and lambs always look bleddy dear too me. But there are plenty of outfits doing it so they must know how too spin the maths. £64/life for broken mouthed 2nd class herdwick and texel x twins. Seems a tad excessive

Suckler cow trade at Sedge on Sat was as flat as a pancake.

Most outfits selling well below the cow's cull value and on top of that the calve would be thrown in for free in real terms.

Bull trade also very sticky, Char bulls sold well but apparently ( did not see them sold ) every other breed was very sticky and many bulls not making much more if any more than their on the hook value.
Were you there to see the trade or just listening to gossip?

I sold an older bull for pretty good money and the Black Limm heifers with calves at foot averaged £350 an outfit more than the same outfits this time last year. Not quite sure what you are talking about. Flat trade it certainly was not!

Like I said on your tiktok, you really should learn what preventative maintenance is.
Nothing I could have done too stop my tow bar ripping off lol… truck was mot and full serviced 2 months ago 🤦‍♂️.. been all plated and welded up today and he said the chassis rail wasn’t rotten either… just the terrible luck I have 😂 and noo the sheep hadn’t escaped because of my dodgey electric fencing a car had crashed into the field gate and drove off 😂
