Lunch in the field, is it just me.

looks like an advert for a fancy combine a fancy car crap food and drink ideal for a bad diet .

Good food and drink should be prepared at home not bought off from a takeaway.

Sounds good o p pic looks like a couple of battered turds ,:giggle:
coke is shite as well, recipe for getting overweight or diabetes later on.
i drink a lot of tea made fresh not in a flask good in hot weather as well surprisingly.
Mrs works 51/2 days but will bring what she s prepared at weekends never much go to takeaways not what farmers ever did either not around here anyway, bit more resourceful than that, different days now i guess.

Plenty of comment on here about joe public using ready meals and overweight .

Do as i say but not as i do ?

no surprise tea ☕️ is good in hot weather

look where it comes from - India / Sri Lanka / China . . .

I drink lots of black tea - especially during summer for hydration

Coffee is for stimulation & a “kick”, tea is for hydration & to quench a thirst

you can buy bottles of Lipton Iced Tea out of the same fridge that Coke etc is in, but nah, it isn’t really

hot black tea is actually very good in hot weather ( think India for a start ) & a good thirst quencher.
When it is REALLY hot, you don’t actually want to drink something ice cold as it is too big a shock to the body - liquids at body temp are absorbed much quicker 👍

dunno about white tea - never drink it with milk in it 🤮

That Lipton stuff isn’t great.
I put a teabag in a litre of cold water in a glass jug and leave it out in the sun for 2-3 hours, then remove bag and refrigerate. Drink without ice but put a wedge of lemon in. Perfect.

Tea is the staff of life.
There was a farmer in the village back in the day, when one of the farm hands refused a cup of tea he said "we drain the pot whether we want to or not, tis' better belly burst than good tea go to waste" words to live by.

I reckon people who drink a lot of tea don't get over weight either

trouble is too much and yer pishing all the time :ROFLMAO:

fish and chips is far too heavy , unless its like a small portion, which is suffiecient for most people sitting on a seat anyway during the day fall asleep at the wheel after that sort of blow out ,but actually too heavy for most manual jobs as well i find.
