i wish she had past my farm ! i'd have took my cap off lowered my head and shed a tear!
Me too . The only visual thing I could think of if HMQ passed my road would be like the Scottish farmers and bow my head and lower the tractor loader as she passed like the dockers did for Churchill. I’d have liked Princess Anne to have seen it on her long journey South too, she’s been steadfast and so devoted to her Mother and supportive of the new King

Wondered about the latter; could it be King Charles has to give way for his Mother and to allow Harry to wear Military uniform ?
probably.
one of those awkward times, when you have to treat people equally.
Likely to be the last time Andrew will be seen, in uniform, or person, while his actions, should have meant him serving life, in a USA prison, he did actually fight in the Falklands war.

And Harry may well see a comeback, when Megan decides she has had enough of him, and he did tours of duty, in Afghanistan.

And, as a mark of respect to the Queen, if her wishes were so, it was the right thing to do.
I wouldn't like to have been the person who had to decide.

Light duties for me,
we all know in this game , after greT losses, the animals need to be fed, feed need to be gathered, land worked all to a schedule to keep things going, but we'd make time for funeral for our nearest and dearest, and this is what she is to most, strange to say about someone most have never crossed paths with but something is definitely different personally, since news broke of her death.
I have tried my best to watch every step of her final journeys and ceremonies live as it happens, then after that as soon as I can .
One small positive for the over populated media coverage culture we have, we are able where we've never been able before to watch such an event in so much length and detail.

TBH anyone who can't reduce their work to a minimum for a once-in-a-lifetime event must be so disorganised it's a wonder they can cope day-to-day.

What did you do on your wedding day or when you have been ill?
Or shock horror for some it’s not a big deal, yes she will be greatly missed by allot of people but me parking my arse infront of the tv all day is going to achieve absolutely naff all when I can come home and watch it on record, so it’s got nothing to do with being disorganised Thank you very much
