So, Tories been 'in charge' for 12 years now. And when where Labour actually at the helm, I forget.

JUst a thought, maybe some should take ownership rather than point fingers at long gone administrations
I think the tory gov is a bag of shite.
But lot that blair did effects things today which any gov today is stuck with.
PFI was example.
Giving our caravan dwelling friends special.status is another..

You start off by making a statement and then follow up by admitting that you have forgotten what you just said.
We all agree that there is a crisis in the health industry and this has been brewing for a very long time . Not just through 12 years of Tory rule but through the 1970s, 80s , 90s and 00s. To ignore the underlying reasons and mistakes by successive governments during these decades may suit your agenda but it cannot be overlooked.
The NHS is just one example of government neglect and mis-management which is close to the hearts of everyone. Education has similarly been mis-managed with a push towards university places for all, regardless of ability to stay the course. Capitulation towards European political integration and social projects the expense of promoting trade and our own productivity.
I agree that this country has been badly managed for much of my adult life but it transcends many decades and two political parties. To base any judgement on the last twelve years alone is ignoring a raft of political mistakes.

I do get that, agree NHS has been in decline for ages under assorted govts be they Blue, Red, or Coalition. But 12 years is a long time to have achieved very little.
While Labour can be accused at throwing money at a problem in scattergun style, the Conservatives natural inclination is to put in layers of management who use keyboards rather than forceps, or just assume a %age of patients have the where-with-all to go private and reduce queues that way. We should give Coffey a chance, but whether she will get that is debateable.
I didn't hear what she said yesterday as we were at a Spire hospital trying to get an issue resolved as our local health trust is sadly imploding..

It's either the fault of an administration that's not held power for 12 years, a man who was never in power or a party that's not in power yet.

Jacob Rees-Mogg needs police escort on his way to Tory conference https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...lers.html?ito=whatsapp_share_article-masthead

I do often wonder what part of the lefts mentality makes them so full of hate.?
I disagree a lot with labour but would never go and call their mps scum like above.
I strongly disagree with Moggie, Corbyn, Rayner, Farage, Tice & Rebbeca Long Bailey & would not call any of them scum or protest in a threatning way.

Its not really left or right is it, just been decent.

Some of you need to listen to this and think on.
It's important to note that even after Suella made that speech, Liz said this about her:

We are also taking decisive action by strengthening our borders by beefing up our Border Force and expanding the Rwanda scheme. Our brilliant new Home Secretary will be bringing forward legislation to make sure that no European judge can overrule us.

I agree with what you say about the problems and mismanagement but one or other of those 2 parties have been in power throughout that period
