It's important to note that even after Suella made that speech, Liz said this about her:

We are also taking decisive action by strengthening our borders by beefing up our Border Force and expanding the Rwanda scheme. Our brilliant new Home Secretary will be bringing forward legislation to make sure that no European judge can overrule us.
ECHR, founded by Britain, referred the case to the UK supreme court that deemed it illegal. Why do they have to lie so much?
Oh wait

Jacob Rees-Mogg needs police escort on his way to Tory conference https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...lers.html?ito=whatsapp_share_article-masthead

I do often wonder what part of the lefts mentality makes them so full of hate.?
I disagree a lot with labour but would never go and call their mps scum like above.
Totally agree.

Seems some supporters of Trump in the US are hate filled too.

Violent attack on the husband of Nancy Peloski using a hammer. Now they are certainly scum

There is so much that is odd about that (perfectly timed) event. The chap was in his underwear and didn't start the attack on Pelosi until the police arrived (to witness it?)

Bit of fun for anyone interested.

Dont tend to see labour mps getting the same sort of abuse to their face.

Attacking the torys is now normal as its standard joke material for comedians and news type shows.
You hardly ever get comedians attacking labour.
just a note, on dating apps, you see notes like no Tories and no Brexiteers, and never have I seen no Labour supports or no Remainers!

You start off by making a statement and then follow up by admitting that you have forgotten what you just said.
We all agree that there is a crisis in the health industry and this has been brewing for a very long time . Not just through 12 years of Tory rule but through the 1970s, 80s , 90s and 00s. To ignore the underlying reasons and mistakes by successive governments during these decades may suit your agenda but it cannot be overlooked.
The NHS is just one example of government neglect and mis-management which is close to the hearts of everyone. Education has similarly been mis-managed with a push towards university places for all, regardless of ability to stay the course. Capitulation towards European political integration and social projects the expense of promoting trade and our own productivity.
I agree that this country has been badly managed for much of my adult life but it transcends many decades and two political parties. To base any judgement on the last twelve years alone is ignoring a raft of political mistakes.
I think some or a lot of the problems we are seeing with the NHS are down to diet, causing illness related to obesity, with subsequent costs to the NHS, but our diet is related to the 10 major food manufacturers who control or have undue influence over government food policies

Have you actually read that piece?
What part of Qanon , Pro Trump conspiracy theories , did you not understand?
He certainly is a fruit and nut case of the highest order

It matters not on the motivations of such people, I think we can call agree that assaulting people, particularly political figures or their families is just bang out of order on every level. If Trump or anyone else has said something that has incited someone to act in this way then they are just as guilty in my view.

This is not how individuals in civilised society behave. It's bad news for us all if we have slipped this far.

I worry that the easy availability of postal votes here in the UK allows dominant members of a family to influence the voting, another legacy of Tony.
Without postal voting I would have no democratic voice. Until Covid, I hadn't been in the same part of the country as my home on a voting day since the early 90s. Many people work away from home through the week and yet ballots are held on Thursdays.

Elections are held on a Sunday here as there's more chance of people being home.
