Back in the early ‘80s we had Foot from the Loony Left talking about Unilateral Nuclear Disarmament now we have the Ridiculous Right telling us that the answer to all of our problems is Unilateral Trade Disarmament where we just open our borders to any crap from anywhere in the world as long as it is dirt cheap - meanwhile every other country keeps our goods out.

The one trick pony shows up again.I’m minded to go back pre referendum on TFF, and find a handful of links to endless threads and posts, from farmers on here gleefully expecting a bounty of deregulation, freedom to farm as you wish, drums of glyphosate at the ready, government support, and to top it all off, fudge Paddy’s beef and dairy products off the shelf, to make way for the produce of the newly empowered British farmer.
