Does that meet the 200l/min etc spec?

Have had it from RPA that it meets the spec, so I’m not going to question it.
I was thinking about this the other day. As long as the pump they use is capable of that flow & pressure (I’d imagine the actual pump would have its own spec as I can’t see one being solely produced for a specific machine) it doesn’t necessarily mean the output of the machine needs to comply. For example a tractor hydraulic pump on bigger tractors can pump far more oil than you could get out of one spool. Not sure I’d want to risk it without checking first (as has already been done in this case), but I’d imagine others would be approved if they could be shown the relevant info.

I never have had a reply to my question to them about it.
Pretty poor really.

Perhaps they'll change the wording in future rounds.

I had an email exchange with RPA about the Homburg machine on behalf of a client. RPA accepted the machine. Contact Fentons of Bourne - Glenn as they are aware.

Below is the relevant paragraph from the RPA email.

I can confirm the Homburg Delta Drain Cleaner is eligible for the FETF2024 scheme. This item uses a hydraulic method of propelling the pipe through the drain and is therefore considered to be over specification.

Ah, so over spec is ok. The dealer for the Homburg has also had an email to say it meets the RPA spec.

That’s the productivity and slurry sections. The closing date for the animal health options is the end of this month.
I cant seem to get onto the page to apply for the grant, can anyone else try and if successful send me a link (I successfully applied for a productivity one on 11th April but this time am trying to apply for a set of livestock weigh bars)
Thanks

Any one know what the rough timeframe is for hearing about applications now the application window is closed for the first round? I can’t see a date they set to respond by, typically!

Am I going mad, or was there a grant for a mobile cattle handling facility this time around? I can't see reference to it anywhere. Many thanks
Yep lost the plot. Suppose you don’t remember saying you were going to transfer me a large amount of money either? 🤣

I’ve a bit of a dilemma as wanting a tine drill but not 100% sure one will do what I want.

I’ve priced some new machines up KV TS and Kuhn Megant which aren’t grant qualifying and also the KRM and Dale that are.

taking grant funding into account the KV is the most expensive but for what I want to do it’s the best of the bunch.

the cheapest would be the KRM assuming I get the full grant on it. but I’m not sure it will do the job I’m wanting as well as the KV. But it is over £10k cheaper!

or do I go out and buy a used tine drill which would be 1/2 of the new grant funded KRM price knowing if it don’t work I can get out dead easy and sell it again?

for now I decided to keep going with the ageing combi as that’s bought and paid for.
Just a little heads up, I'm thinking of restructuring here, I bought a new TS6 KV which has never spent a night outdoors. Its a great drill, done 900 acres, but I've lost the old man as my cultivator driver and farming on my own I'm fairly set on going down the combi route as the sensible option.
By all means PM me if the TS is your drill of choice, I might have a good one for you

Will bear it in mind but since I put that post up I discovered I can get a KV drill on the grant scheme.
so currently waiting to see if our application has been accepted.
