If you're allowed through NuCustoms with them, I'm sure they'll be a rare treat for the local food larder/bankI’m coming to UK tomorrow. I’ll fill my bags.

Tins of baked beans are blimmin' expensive! £1.40 each in T*sco!Middle class problem.
Be plenty of Heinz beans to go with the nuggets.
That's not a problem for this household. Doesn't like humus with banana. In case you missed it, there is also a chickpea shortage... available in tins but hard to find dried packs.
childish..... is there a "shortage"?i blame governments lack of regard for food security. - we had loads of banana until SFI was dreamt up
BPS kept us in Bananas - now all t he UK's Banana farms are growing dam bird food
@Bossfarmer you were right Dam Brexit dam SFI
Despite their size Banana plants are not trees, but a herbaceous shrub. They need massive amounts of water and nutrients that are usually given in a liquid form added to the drip feed irrigation system. There's a banana tree down South Devon that fruits.
Good, bring it on, lots of it ! - food has been far to cheap for far to longto increase food inflation
ah so ur admitting its not a wise use of taxpayers money now, good we can finally agree, yes my cattle cheque is another recordGood, bring it on, lots of it ! - food has been far to cheap for far to long

No thats drivel, ask a guy on the street about public goods and natural capital theyll laugh at you, they only care about whats left from their wages at the months endno - it's a great use of tax payers money, deliver public goods / natural capital whilst increasing food prices
it's utter genius IMO
Hmmmm. What's that in turnips? If they are rare, I trade you my 5 bananas for a couple of your common sheep!

Trolley App is your friend.
Thank the lord for small mercies, that’ll put a stop on some of the more exotic recipes coming out of our kitchen. In case you missed it, there is also a chickpea shortage... available in tins but hard to find dried packs.
No problem I'll pack them in heroin so the sniffer dogs can't pick them out.If you're allowed through NuCustoms with them, I'm sure they'll be a rare treat for the local food larder/bank
I always bring vegetables.Be interesting to see if Customs can muster the enthusiasm to check hand luggage from Africa for food, not been anyone there last twice I've flown into LHR from Canada.
India ( our largest chickpea market ) still has a 68% import duty on chickpeas, so there are plenty of chickpeas here looking for alternate homes if you're interestedIn case you missed it, there is also a chickpea shortage... available in tins but hard to find dried packs.
