Even if you are in a "safe seat" you can still make your voice heard by contributing to the "swing" even if YOUR vote doesn't actually count this time around [emoji35]

Bloody FPTP.
some thought the remain vote was "safe"
everyone's vote counts when you are voting for your MP

I'll admit to a degree of concern over the timing of this GE. I wonder if with the attendant shenanigans and filibustering, the fact that neither May nor any of her cabinet (that I can see) want Brexit, if there may not be a plan (scheme) in place to scupper the whole deal.

One thing's for certain, if we don't leave the EU now, regardless of our previous leanings, we will be held over a barrel and we'll be royally buggered by Brussels.

I'm not convinced that we'll ever be free of the EU.

There is a world of difference between the way your vote counts in a referendum and a GE.
Tactical voting doesn't have a place in a referendum.
I and many millions like me already know who will be returned as MP on our behalf under the FPTP system.

Yes the candidate with the most votes will be your MP simple enough really

And that is WITH tactical voting which would be irrelevant with PR(STV) - but until that day the UK only gets a democratic vote in referenda where tactical voting really doesn't count even though in the Brexit referendum voting against DC was "de rigeur" for some who actually wanted to remain.
