I hope you put the oil back in !Forklift steering ram sprung a leak on a seal, stuff to unload and didn't want to leave a trail of oil around the yard so on with an ice cream tub 'nappy'

Not guilty on that front. It came from fathers pile of 'useful containers' which consists of various biscuit tins, sweet tins, empty vanish stain remover tubs, ice cream tubs, coffee jars and the like.And then bought some better Ice Cream

@Bobthebuilder I like the @bodge,@ the amount of rust suggests it took a while to get round to it - I notice the unusual shininess of the bolt....

Own up to this! is not a bodge but a fully planned almost proper engineering fix
