One of the things that usually makes a good day of the Exlana sale is the speakers we manage to attract from across the industry
This year due to Covid we have had to forego this honour but instead we managed to get Emily Gascoigne of Synergy farm Vets to make us this short video on Border Disease---it's on our new Exlana Youtube channel if anyone is interested and has a few minutes to spare
Emily has a European Diploma in Small Ruminant Health Management and is a RCVS Recognised Specialist in Sheep Health and Production.

Just watched the first 10 lots. Fierce trade so far! Nothing under £1000 and at least one over £2000 (I think, haven't written anything down).

Yes. Looking in online, it appeared that the combination of live/internet selling worked very well and the Exlana team got their just desserts for some hard yards made. Well done to all.

I've just got home but it was a cracker of a sale ----100% clearance, average price £1500 , top price £2700 and a fair few disappointed bidders who didn't manage to get what they wanted . We will be looking at ram lambs for these buyers in the next month or so ----the online bidding worked very well ---almost half the rams sold to online bidders and reports i have so far indicate that everyone found it an easy system to use

I think the online bidding was a disaster. All it served to do was push the prices up!
