does your cattle crush have weighbars? carry them in and deduct your weight or make a narrow calf taxi to wheel in. The other option is buy a small weigh platform to have in a handy place and again use a wheelbarrow.

Yeah you can buy a basic one fairly cheap and if you can have a little ramp up on to it, its a fairly easy job with a wheel barrow. I move all our calves with a jfc plastic wheel barrow with the deep straight sides.

In a shed or field - old way was to hang a scale from a beam and use a sling- used to do that when the calf groap collected calves in laybies

A weigh tape for their foot.
That's what most people use for birth weights if they are performance recording.
The first year I did it I compared it to putting calves in the sheep weigh crate and it was pretty much on the money every time.

Calf group used a rope but cut a lorry strap up - if you want to be posh stitch some blanket to it
