Depends where you put the mark

Pick plough up when last leg passes through mark and set in when rear tractor wheel passes over mark

Depending how wide a headland you want ,Front furrow in ,last Fr out
On our 5 furrow I drop the front point/ body into the mark and lift out just about when the 3rd hits the mark.
Just do your ins out at same point , but please dont use tramline ,as mark , plough a bigger headland , other wise , fert and sprayer man ,will be giving you thod lace ole ,

Never did get our plough man not to use tramline for headland mark.Just do your ins out at same point , but please dont use tramline ,as mark , plough a bigger headland , other wise , fert and sprayer man ,will be giving you thod lace ole ,
had to buy a claydon and go dd before the sprayer booms dropped off bumping along the headlands.

If you have measured the headland correctly you need to be at working depth by the time you get to the mark with all of the furrows.

I lift out just in time for the front weight to brush the hedge whilst turning and drop back in when the tractor rear wheel drops into the furrow

lift up just as your front weight touches the hedge and drop in as you back wheel drops in the furrow and keep a small headland
