My merchant thinks yes. I don't know if he's right. Oh, and where are energy costs heading? As far as I see, they are already there.
I don't know the answer to that. I'm only describing what's been happening now, and I doubt any of us are surprised that they might be chancing their arm with a bit of profiteering. It's really only like we do every week at the mart. Price bids up until it runs out of willing bidders.

My understanding was that N fertiliser was made for next spring during this time of the year as heating demand is low and there's a surplus even with lines from Russia closed for 'maintenance'. No idea if this still holds true any more.

Ive all my drinking done when drink was cheap and it looks like ive most of my fertiliser sown when fert was cheap

GDT index now back into 2019/20 range, when our price was mid twenties of pence.

Another urea plant is shutting in Poland due to high gas prices.
Doesn't affect us. Apparently nobody in NI stocks urea.

I booked a half load of urea last week.
I have my CAN here but I'm sitting feeling deflated because I think I've missed the boat with urea for next spring.
