Teejet 844e controller with teejet section control gps , rate control issue

Hi we have a clayton sprayer with Knight sprayer on, teejet 844e controller with teejet section control gps .

Issue I'm having is it won't spray in auto , it always puts too much on ie target rate set to 150 and it struggles to get down to 175 , fluctuates alot , tried different speeds different rates etc and still is no better , was in perfect working order when it was traded into a dealer , they put a nsts test on it and messed with something and I can't get it right now .
If you try it in manual soon as you turn it on you can manually set it to 3 bar and spray at a set speed no bother , but if you try it in auto , then back in manual you can up the pressure but not drop the pressure , you have to turn box on and off for it to work in manual again

Any advice appreciated

There is a setting in that box for a minimum pressure which means it won’t regulate below whatever you have that set for, say 1.5 bar, the idea is that it gets up to pressure faster for spraying out of corners etc. We had a similar issue where that setting ended up at 3 bar or something silly so it wouldn’t regulate down to the rate we were looking for. Maybe worth a check?

I'll have a look at that setting 👍 ita frustrating as it was perfect before . When they was testing it it took them ages as they struggled to get pressure up so they messed about with box when it only needed ramsy valve blowing up

its well worth running through the programming sequence, check everything is set correctly,it’s quite easy to change a setting when you’re changing the wheel size.

Tried that , all I got was bought as seen, and there fitters don't know what they've done , thought I'd try on here to see if anyone knows to try save a few hundred pounds as it must only be something simple

No I haven't programmed it before , got it mid drilling and couldn't get it to work in auto so just sprayed in manual to get sprayed up then been busy with other stuff since , I need to spend a day on it and get my head round it . wanting the auto working more for liquid fert in the spring so I can easily adjust rates ,

So how do you do that, think my minimum is 1.1 bar, could do with raising it as some of the anti drip start working and stall some nozzles?
