Why thou?I wouldn't charge a hospital £800 for doing nothing, Amazon fair enough but I would happily do a voluntary stint at the local hospital foc.
hundreds of people do voluntary work in hospitals , sometimes its just nice to give something back . not everything in life is about money. Why thou?
The NHS is a business like any other, has the 10th largest workforce of any employer in the world and burns thru about 3 billion ££s every two days!!
I agree about the money thing.hundreds of people do voluntary work in hospitals , sometimes its just nice to give something back . not everything in life is about money.
you really thing they deliberately increased waiting times just to make a bit more money from car parking charges ?I agree about the money thing.
But the NHS is only out for itself and its staff.
So they should be the last ones given any help.
Main hospital here they now charge you for the actual time parked in the car park... funny how when that came in waiting times for day treatment etc at the hospital increased in length.....
Nothing would surprise me with the NHS..you really thing they deliberately increased waiting times just to make a bit more money from car parking charges ?
I have to disagree there , never had anything other than first class service but I agree they do know how to waste money like no other. in part due to other people/ organisation's ripping them off.Nothing would surprise me with the NHS..
If a private business it would have went bang years ago!
The money wasted is unreal and try getting any help from the NHS, complete waste of time and now the only option is to go private.
I don’t think they need to.you really thing they deliberately increased waiting times just to make a bit more money from car parking charges ?
£800? That’s just half an hour on the snow job at a big hospital we used too cover a major Midlands hospital and if snow was just forecast we were on site with 2 bobcats, a gator, 4 gritters, 3 tractor and snow ploughs and an army of men too match … they said paying for all that just too sit there Incase it snowed was cheaper than if it snowed and they had too wait an hour for it too arrive pretty sure it was something like £200,000 an hour it cost if they lost there access roads too snow and had too divert ambulances and resourcesI wouldn't charge a hospital £800 for doing nothing, Amazon fair enough but I would happily do a voluntary stint at the local hospital foc.
You will probably find the car park is privately owned and run, not by the NHS.Main hospital here they now charge you for the actual time parked in the car park... funny how when that came in waiting times for day treatment etc at the hospital increased in length.....
