I have a red tractor inspection tomorrow, I have several loads of oats due to leave tomorrow and Friday. If I get a non conformance tomorrow, does anyone know how it would it affect my assurance status and the oats due to leave Friday? TIA

You get time to rectify any non compliance and if you have stickers you will be fine. I guess if you applied a banned chem to your crop they might ban you straight away but nobody would record such a thing.

I refused an inspection during September last year.

They did suspend me, but the supervisor rang me to check I wasn’t needing to move grain until I had had an inspection.

Try not to get a non-conformance instead of worrying about what will happen to the grain if you get one! Work your way through the checklist, upload to the portal, jobs a goodun.

'Sell' all your grain to a neighbour tonight.

Then when the RT inspector finds you haven't crossed a T on a form and bans you, it won't matter!!

One day the world will be hungry that even the clipboard kings won't care if it is RT assured

I’ve finally agreed to have the inspection, refused the first request as it was during harvest, refused the 2nd as was loading grain out that week, we’ve finally agreed the beginning of November 😂

But if the mill was run your number through the system and it flags that you are on suspension and rejects, you will be paying haulage both ways.
They get dozens of passports every day and what are the chances of getting one invalid?.. so they wont be checking them... they didnt on the 18 I sent last spring.

I think the flagging up of assurance status often happens when you sell grain to the merchant. Not when it’s physically moved.

All good thanks. Yes it was GB. They are a dream compared to others.
I used to get him onto a red herring about his former days as a farm manager, so his time was shorter and he wouldn't have enough time to look too deeply! He did fail me on a tiny gap under one roller shutter door the first time he came, probably to prove a point that Ted Dredge wasn't thorough enough.

Good result for you and another ball ache done for the next 12 months 👍

Is that Ted Dredge as in Edwin Dredge from Wiltshire, bit of a stutter?
