Yep, its strange because it was a tidy old tractor except for the total abortion of fitting a battery.

I have used good tecs to drill the hole then run them out again to install a tec with a burnt out point when I get to the bottom of the box.But that stops it being salvageable for the next bodge when the clamp is finally replaced,

I'm more normal than I thought.
We 'inherited' a big box of fine tec screws 25 years ago. I mean 10kg plus big. I'm still using them as if they were made of the gold that they are coloured with.

Metal strap box from scrapyard 'n' a few years ago.
2 pieces of flat bar from a bed headboard. Offcuts of ubiquitous 40mm box then 2 more pieces of 40x8mm flat.
Box only hooked onto the trailer headboard as it might be in the way for tight turns or long loads.
Paint might happen.

Our low loader had the same setup welded on the front, had to remove it as it was slicing 650 tyres, maybe sitting lower than that though.
