Yep, its strange because it was a tidy old tractor except for the total abortion of fitting a battery. That's beautiful, has the earth been riveted on with lump hammer

But that stops it being salvageable for the next bodge when the clamp is finally replaced,I might have cut the point off....
I have used good tecs to drill the hole then run them out again to install a tec with a burnt out point when I get to the bottom of the box.But that stops it being salvageable for the next bodge when the clamp is finally replaced,
But having said that the tractor will probably be knackered and scrapped before then
I thought that was common practice?I have used good tecs to drill the hole then run them out again to install a tec with a burnt out point when I get to the bottom of the box.
So did lI thought that was common practice?
Got new oil rad, do i need to fill it with oil before fitting please?Oil cooler radiator had a pin pr*ck hole. Needed to finish spraying so covered the hole with a bit of pipe draining the oil to a used T shirt so it didn’t coat the other radiators with oil.

We 'inherited' a big box of fine tec screws 25 years ago. I mean 10kg plus big. I'm still using them as if they were made of the gold that they are coloured with.
I’m nearly tighter with the stuff I’ve acquired for free than the stuff I buy!I'm more normal than I thought.

Lunch box ?Today's bodge.
Metal strap box from scrapyard 'n' a few years ago.
2 pieces of flat bar from a bed headboard. Offcuts of ubiquitous 40mm box then 2 more pieces of 40x8mm flat.

Box only hooked onto the trailer headboard as it might be in the way for tight turns or long loads.
Paint might happen.
Elevenses.Lunch box ?
Our low loader had the same setup welded on the front, had to remove it as it was slicing 650 tyres, maybe sitting lower than that though.Today's bodge.

Anything to get the radio working again, but probably buy a whole packet of fuses for that
