Morning,
It’s finally time to change our old greenlands rf120 and we’ve been offered a 2013 case RB344 done 30,000 bales from a local dealer. What’s everyone’s experiences with them? First time we’ve ever had such a new baler so looking at how people have got on with them do they make a good...
So this is the first year we’ve ever scanned our sheep and so far the accuracy isn’t what I would call acceptable. I’ve lambed 19 sheep out of 150 and so far the scanner we’ve used has gotten 5 wrong. I could be wrong and it could just be these first few but the way it’s going I can’t see it...
Looking to get a set of sheep shears for tailing and maggots. I’ve tried the Horner shearing zipper 2 and it was sh!t blew up after a few tailing a few lambs managed to get it rebuilt under warranty and then it did the same again so not interested in anything from them. Is there any other brands...
Anyone braking a lely optimo 240c mines a 1995 model. Looking for 3 skids local dealer recons they aren’t available anymore? Have attached a picture of the ones I’m looking for.
Had to move my tw35 to put away for winter and on putting into gear and realising the clutch it tried to pull away then hesitated and didn’t move dipped the clutch and realised it again and it pulled away. Decided to take it for a spin down the road put it into 4th and put the dual power into...
So picked up a really cheap Massey 135 as a winter project. The front of the bonnet is all dented up but apart from that is usable.
is the able to be beaten out and if so what pannel beating tools will I need? Or just cut my losses and find a better second hand one.
Currently painting up a link box and would like to paint it grey to Match a Massey 35, but I’m not sure what shade of grey it should be. It’s a 1963 35x any help would be appreciated
cheers.
Evening. Does anyone know what colour wires do what on the rear lights for a ford 7810. I’ve just bought new rear lights but the wires on the tractor are different to the ones I’ve bought.
Cheers Tom.
Looking at a tractor at the moment and the hours clock is showing 1887 Im guessing it’s gone around the clock so the hours would be 11887 is that correct? Apart from the hours the tractor is in really good condition.
Evening,
I’m trying to work out a ford series 2 7810 serial number before I commit to buying one. The beginning is bb. I haven’t been told what year it is. With my tw you could look it up. I’ve tried looking through google but can’t find anything.
cheers
Evening
we recently have started having a few problems with our Massey 6140 It all started the other day with it running out of diesel on the side of a hill, basically the tractor spent 3 days stuck leaning over to one side due to where it stopped and us having problems getting it to start...
Evening chaps,
We’re currently looking at trading our Massey 390 for a Massey 6170. Is there any common problems with them?
we’ve Spoke to a couple people and we have contradicting stories one person recons the electrics are terrinle
But another person recons they’re bomb proof? Anyone else...
Evening, currently running 4 rams to 120 ewes split into 2 groups. is that enough? Ewes are mainly texel x and the rams are texel. Or should I run some more rams. Trying to close up our lambing so it’s not so drawn out.
Cheers Tom
Looking to up grade our baler, currently running a Greenland’s rf120. Just looking for something newer any recommendations? Won’t be used for anything to heavy and not to fussy about a chopper unit on it. Will be used on grass and straw. Got about £4K to spend.
Looking to invest in a calf crush want to try and avoid buying brand new but will if needs be. Just need nice and simple. We currently run this death trap as you can see the bar to restrain the calf’s head is a jaw breaker and bloody dangerous.
Been thinking for a while about buying myself a cordless impact gun. Problem is there’s so many on the market it’s hard to know which one to buy. So what have people on here bought and how have they found them?
Evening all quick question.
Just calved a cow and the calve has turned in feed like the tendon or muscle hasn’t relaxed. We had the same last year and the vet told me to give it a injection to help relax the muscle but I can’t remember for the life of me what. Anyone have this problem and have...
So since the weathers turned good and every tractor we have is busy I’ve had my tw out rolling. When the tractors just started and warming up the clutch seems normal no lag or hesitation but after a hour or so at work if I back of the throttle to slow down abit it feels like the clutch is biting...
