    Severn Trent- damage and contempt.

Misunderstood the gist of the post. To explain it in depth would be a essay and too much time. In short, Severn Trent by law have a duty of care to their contractors, land owners, other with access and its not been followed. Our access and a neighbors has now been stopped from agricultural work...

    Severn Trent- damage and contempt.

I have pictures of the damage and more of the lorry stuck. Damage is significant enough to limit or stop ours and a neighbours access to further land or property. We have the ditch and a pond one side and a canal the other. So now taking large machinery across is a no for fear of slipping in...

The sudden increase in friends, those trying to be friendly and those wanting jobs.

Lots of warmongering, talk of war spreading from distant lands and the assosiated speculation. As talked about on here previous. Lots of posts and articles about conscription and building the forces up due to shortages of personnel and likelihood of a war with Russia. Moving from a post war...

    Severn Trent- damage and contempt.

Two weeks ago today, Severn Trent's contractors over shot a sewage works of theirs down our track. They slipped off and got stuck. Luckily a tree held them up from rolling the lorry. If they went the other side it could have been fatal (into the canal). Anyway, two weeks later, next to no...

2024 onwards plans- expansion, retraction or consolidation.

Like all, the current climate around the industry and uncertainty around most things is dictating our decisions and influencing the potential choices we have to make or things we can't do. We like to stay in the footing if able to pounce at opportunities without been tied down or signed up for...

How many of you block rights of way?

Not blocked but legally hindered access to the footpath for bikes and those that shouldn't be using it. Personally if finances get tight and they can't afford to fight stuff like this. More drastic action may be taken as 95% of our agro come from the 1 foot path on the farm and a private track...

    Dozy sales reps

But even when we do call and say we want something. They don't get back to answer or satisfy the query or interest in a potential buying/ selling situation. Rep must have it easy with how their attitude is so lax.

    Dozy sales reps

Yes second hand and aware that any can sell out of area. But was keen to stick with Russell's for the sake of some "hours" of warranty and they are our nearest dealership. Usually no problems and machines are as described. Anyway, after messaging the rep to push for the demo whilst drilling/...

    Dozy sales reps

To go back to the OP. You are not alone! Reps now are pretty much a by word around here for rude, never seen or wanted when you make contact with them, work shy waste of spaces. They only ever crawl out or make an effort when they need the month end of year end bonuses and think they can use...

Red tape, Government interference and bull#£&t- when did it first start?

When did the government overreach and interference start, that's lead to all the hassle we all have now from other bodies thinking they own us or what we grow before we have even sold it? Obviously WW2 and WW1 we were about starved out so the government had the war Ag committees etc. But were...

    Non genuine brake parts.

No i rang my mechanic for prices as he's in the know and gave me the list with prices. Then rang around a few others i use and got bits her and there cheaper on quotes. What do you mean by tear drop? I've not got into it yet, brakes work and no squeaks or scraping. But it's done 7000 hours so...

    Prices coming down?

Prices need to come down further. £2500 for part to do the rear brakes on a 62 plate 210 auto command NH- Mental! What are the manufacturers thinking making spares so expensive. Yes they make money on parts, but it drives people to look else where for better value when buying and when...

    Non genuine brake parts.

Standard fiction discs originally but wanting to put hd in to last longer and get better breaking before the backing plates are damaged.

    Non genuine brake parts.

Gaskets, seals, friction and spacer discs and pistons. Hopefully get away without needing the pistons once in there.

    Non genuine brake parts.

Looking to do the brakes on my 210 auto command. CNH prices are just ridiculous and even the people quoting me are saying it's suicide from CNH to have put them up that much. Anyone had any success with other brands? Ideally wanted the HD Kevlar discs. With all the bits it's looking at been...

    McCormick X7.624 feedback.

Picked up the tractor yesterday and used it on a trailer. Very impressed, pocket power house I'd say as i think it's the swb 240. Rides fantastic, shame all tractors. dont ride like it. Pulls like a train for a 240hp tractor and is nice a place to sit and drive just as my NH and the JD tractors...

    Dealers not keen enough?

Glad to hear I've maybe just had a bad experience but they have blotted their card for sure.

Thank you for that. Many things to look at and make sure they have changed or see if we can adapt to.
