Hello, i need perforated grain trough for my Claas Tucano 450, but claas will have it available in the end of october. I want to make holes in ordinary grain trough, but i am not sure, what kind of holes i should make. Is here anyone, who has something like that and can take a photo? Thank you.
Morning
Presumably most are still planning on planting wheat in the next month or so.
With current prices and profitability what’s everyone’s thoughts on pre em choices and rates ?
cheers
Evening folks,
Just wondering on a wet evening, how many people own and old combine like a 1990 machine to an early 2000 machine so like 20/30 year old machine. Do you find them reliable or just a pain as they are on the period when electrics started to come into the agriculture sector fast...

A few of us had combines trying to burn on us whilst cutting winter linseed earlier this week!
Anyone else know why please as humidity was low, crop is ripe and weather was dry? thank you😊
Normally I nuke it with glypho.
But some old neighbours always use to leave it to ripen naturally.
This year, as ever, timing of the glypho looks tricky. Some is green, some is dead and will smash out under the sprayer belly.
It hadn’t ripened progressively up the plant. Sims have died off...
What have I done wrong? Sprayed 1l/ha of oskar/foxtrot at 200l/ha volume in winter wheat at gs 37 on Monday 8th of May.The wild oats have shrugged it off since and growing away. I can only assume I should have sprayed at 1.2l/ha. Didn't want to go earlier as I wanted to get any spring wild oats...
Let’s start a harvest 23 thread! So how far do we all think we are from starting? Winter barley rapidly ripening here early start is on the cards. First week of july maybe, rape just starting to lose its greenness also!
Been asked by a friend to look at his pre-force 3000 hydraulics which apparently are dead. Not worked as long as he's had it. Not seen it yet, apparently has plenty of oil in. I'm not familiar with that system, any checks/tests I can do? I have pressure gauges etc
Thanks.
Looking for ideas for a tillage system to fit in an existing frame want something compact that moves all the soil but only working an inch(ish) deep. Would be following a low disturbance flatlift. Has anyone much experience of the wavy discs similar to this
Aye-up,

He’s been there a month or so, has been getting kit all up together and getting to know the crew and how they like things doing. On Friday they were given their jobs and...
Hello everyone
I am posting this for a friend
He is looking to purchase a mf 31 combine
He's looking for information on the machine
Appreciate replies from anyone that had a 31xp combine
Any disadvantages to Topik for a straight wild oats job, as opposed to Axial?
Seems half the price and less hard on the crop, but would welcome views. Thanks
