Got a opico 600qf and every few loads I've to take the plug out and clean it to get her to ignite.
Why would the plug be getting dirty with soot? Is there adjustments to stop this happening?

Ive got a 1970s 10 ton an hour grain dryer that needs a replacement drive motor and gear box assembly, axle sprocket and some chain links for bars inside the dryer. Anyone got something no longer required. Based in central Scotland so would be good to see whats up here. Thanks.
We’re on soils that go hard and struggling to find a machine to chit them unless they are wet. We persevered with a vaderstad carrier for a few years but got rid of it in the end as it just wouldn’t penetrate hard soils. We then used a mounted disc/press machine with the idea the tractor linkage...

Got an issue with the dryer I need some guidance on please.
Dryer starts, heats up ok, but doesn’t come back in once grain temperature is reached as it trips the high limit stat.
Should it go to a low flame then come back in when the temperature drops 🤔

A couple of quick questions after grain comes out of the dryer and goes into store is it possible that the moisture content can drop a little say 1% ? And when drying milling wheat what moisture do you dry it to? When storing grain in steel bins is it possible that the grain sweats and the...
Chaps,
We've just bought a direct drill as I mentioned on another thread. Simtech T-Sem 300. Nice drill, had a go with drilling kale into some PP and seems to have worked (slightly to our surprise). The plan is to do all our arable with it, having traditionally been ploughing and...
