Does Regen Ag matter? Written by Richard Pike from COOK A broken System My interest in sustainable food began somewhere in the mid 2000’s when, working for a UK farming group, we ended up importing lettuce into the UK, by air, in spring, to satisfy the demands of a major customer. I was...

Is their a future in farming?

I’m a young person who’s interested in farming but not sure if there’s a future for me in farming and wondering if there’s money to be made as I enjoy farming but there’s no point getting into it as a main profession if it’s not going to make me a living?

Why is the Uk agricultural industry becoming almost “obsessed by carbon free farming”???

I ask the above as the island of the “Uk” is such a pinprick, relative to worldwide agriculture. Which other countries agricultural policies are so concerned with “carbon neutral farming “ as the Uk is??

Farmer Focus Edwin Taylor (Dec 2020) Well, I am sitting here thinking of how the last eight months have been since my debut article back in April and I do not think there is any way to sugar coat it, it’s just been bloody moderate (in fact probably less than moderate) with all that is going...

    Pasture-For-Life beef

I presume that as far as the consumer is concerned, the term ''Pasture-For-Life'' infers that beef cattle have been grazed on grass for life. Does it exist, or is it just a figment of someone's vivid imagination?
