With harvest just beginning, now seems a sensible time to draw breath and assess the season before harvest gets in full swing followed in short order by establishing next year's crops.
And what a season it's been. Yes, there have been weather events to talk about, especially the dry April and...
I'm looking into alternatives to soyl for my variable everything package I currently have with them.
Who's in the market for variable N,P,K, lime, seed, yield maps?
24 year old self employed based in Wem, Shropshire. Looking for additional work mainly arable but have experience with beef cattle, sheep. I have experience with most cultivations, fertiliser spreading with variable rate, dribble bars, silage & hay (mowing, tedding/ raking) and general farm...
Lab seems to have lost my soil samples, need to crack on with work and need to know pH of block of land. Have a calibrated optical pH meter for checking water for the chooks and was thinking is it just a matter of mixing some soil samples with distilled water and checking for a simple farmgate...
Well I have had it with this now.
Emails still aren't coming to me direct, so I am missing some fairly important ones I think.
The amount of nonsensical rubbish coming out is overwhelming, there's nobody listening to us when we ask questions, utter shambles.
The rewards do not add up at...

Is anyone using the isoyl app and a KRM M35W spreader to do variable rate P&K? We have been using an old Amazone with amados control box but now need the wiring loom to connect up to the Calibrator Zurf control box, Our rep has left soyl and having no joy with the new guy!
Who is best to use for soil sampling? Had SOYL do some a few years ago but due to be done again and I’m keen to do the organic matter testing but not sure if SOYL is the best ??
I am looking to buy into Frontier's Soyl/iSoyl, mainly to move towards applying liquid nitrogen at variable rates. Does anyone have any experience with this service? How well does it work?
I have an Amazone UF-02 bought 1 year ago with an Amatron 4 screen, will a link up to this be seamless?

Has anyone used NIR technology for slurry application? We are considering it for installation on our dribble bar, to monitor the nutrient being applied and help plan our chemical fertiliser applications around our digestate spreading in conjunction with our SOYL maps.
I have seen several - JD...

Just had an email saying YAGRO have sold to Frontier. I've used YAGRO a lot for buying almost all my Ag chems, some Fert and a bit of fuel when in a hurry. Not sure how/if that side of it will work anymore, email says more about their data/pricing side of the business.
How long can Frontier...
