As well as guidance and autosteer, AgOpenGPS is extremely good at auto section control or Machine control as its referred to.
You can control an implement lifting in and out of work on the headland, tramlines engaging and disengaging and turning on and off sections of a sprayer, spreader...
I have a chinese GPS system (Sveaverken) fitted to my John Deere 6930 which for drilling works very well when i have a set of weights hung on the front of it however i now work with a 6 leg toolbar on the front(feet go in 5 to 6 ").
The tractor is unable to steer correctly with the steering...
Only just heard about this today - interesting development.
Scary to read that AGCO is "by far the smaller company in the deal, despite it having a more prominent public presence in the agricultural industry."

There are two routes to acquiring technology, develop it in house or, as AGCO has chosen to do, buy it in through the purchase of expertise already established in the field.
Although the deal is described as a joint venture between Trimble and AGCO, it...
I had been using FarmWorks software, but they have been taken over by Trimble, which isn't an issue as such as most of my GPS equipment is Trimble. But now my installed version of Farmworks no longer works and Trimble in their wisdom have put all their software in "the Cloud" and I just don't...

If using both together(don't use autosteer on the sprayer that often) the teejet section control can go all over the place and shift its line and field ends.
Both antennas are on the roof of the sp sprayer and about 6 inches apart.
Thoughts and experiences please.
good morning I have a very serious problem that not even my dealer has the explanation for this problem I have two interconnected displays one is a CNH XCN 1050 and the other is a GFX 750 both with RTK guidance and autosink enabled the problem occurs when my worker took the perfect direction...
I'm just having a play about with a new modem, can anyone confirm if a CNH tractor will work with a generic sierra GX-450 modem or has it got to be one with the Trimble firmware installed?
Also is it wired up through the B or C port of a AG372 for it to work on the intelliview?
I can't find...
Got a 250 for guidance in a ranger for avadex work but thinking about putting easy steer onto it . Just really to make it easy on me only thing is that it is non power steering . Would it be strong enough to op the steering as steering is fair easy .
Hi all, just bought a small sp sprayer, it has a delta 34i which has a faulty screen. What is available as in guidance/spray controller or do I just fix the current one and use foam markers? Cheers
Where would we start, we're thinking of putting auto steer on our sowing tractor.
Are they hard to move from 1 tractor to another?
Basic approx price?
Make?
Thanks.

Just got targeted again last weekend which is two years since their 1st visit . Running NH tractors but it has been suggested to me that certain breeds of tractor are less targeted due to the difficulty of getting what they want .
Breed in question was that JDs gps is built in more so at worst...
We will soon be looking for a new 300 hp tractor, does anyone have experience of Case Optum tractors. Historically we ran Case Magnums and Quadtracs but always felt quality was a bit lacking backup however was good from Does and I have no doubt this is still true.
Really wanted a Fendt 828 but...
Hi, we currently have case quadtrac and we are downsizing to a cat 865c
We are currently using the case GPS system with the pro screen 700. Would we be able to use the same GPS dome and screen for the challenger?
I know we could go on to Trimble but we love the 700 screen and so easy to use...
