CNH & Sierra modem

I'm just having a play about with a new modem, can anyone confirm if a CNH tractor will work with a generic sierra GX-450 modem or has it got to be one with the Trimble firmware installed?

Also is it wired up through the B or C port of a AG372 for it to work on the intelliview?

I can't find any settings in the ace manager for Ntrip so I'm assuming it needs to be setup so the receiver gets the data through the modem it's self? Previously I setup a modem to send the Ntrip data to the receiver over port c as a 'radio'.

I've found the pin out for the genuine Trimble loom, that's got it wired up to port B, I also think port B is controlled by the intelliview screen so makes sense now I think about it.
