Thinking of changing wormer this year. Always used an ivermectin injection before but not happy with results, especially during the grazing season.
Going to use a drench that does fluke too. I know I'll have to treat lice separate now.
Are hook drench guns any good?
Can you do a row of cattle...

Farmers are being warned that as a result of the early autumn warm weather leading to an extended grazing period, they should be vigilant for increased parasites.
The current wet weather means that hoose or lungworms could be an issue on many farms.

Anyone use it? Work well? Timings for vaccines in UK climate? Costs? It seems like quite a lot of effort, but after constant reinfection this year, and generally being pretty nervous about resistance (something a number of people I know that use cydectin are now facing) I think it's becoming...

Sustainability is surely the thing on which the world needs to concentrate.
Measuring carbon etc. is surely all smoke and mirrors compared to showing that you live, work or produce in a manner that is [at least in the main] , infinitely repeatable.
It is clear that everybody has a view on what...

Many thanks...
Does the 14 day advice apply both ways? Bits I've found say not to dose with Levamisole within 14 days after dipping. What about dosing 8-10 days before dipping? Got a mobile dipper booked for end of next week, lambs look like they could do with a dose and I've got enough Levamisole on the...
