I take it there is very little bovine tb near you then glasshouse? There is only a little near me yet I could easily name 20 farmers who are quitting with cattle either because of the threat on cattle values in their herd if they have a case of tb or they are fed up of constantly testing because their neighbours keep having the odd case.Roll out the badger cull PLEASE.
Labour wont implement a badger cull either.
Has anyone worked out the cost to farming of the 13p/litre tax on red deisel brought in by the greatest imbecile of the 20th century?

Politicians are self serving they arent there to help you just themselves same throughout europe, But i aint got a better system other than me as dictator!

Allez Empereur Will I!

Politicians just want to be re-elected, then p**s off into the consultancy business when they are done in politics. They do need votes though & occasionally someone thinks further ahead than the next election.

The ones thinking ahead arent the politicians they are the likes of boris johnson's brother, most politicians cant see further forward than there next meal, the party insists they arent to clever otherwise they could cause trouble!

Absolutely. Looking long term might involve some short term pain for the greater gain - the peak of the pain might be when the election happens. They don't get re elected so their whole scheme gets scrapped so why try in the first place?

Sorry. That's a bit cynical.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.
