12v Air Con fan for Old Tractor

Needs to be fitted up high if you ask me, cold air doing what it does, unless the outlets are piped up to head height.
I have a unit like @Colliedog fitted, very cold cab now.

Yes, I was thinking run the ducting up to tip of cab , but as @Timbo points out its not a complete unit , I'd thought it was a concealed unit

Be fine for a project where you can relatively easily add the comp & cond and pipe it up

The tractor already has air con , but it's beyond pathetic , no air flow, constant leaks etc , would it be a waste of time using the compressor and condenser that is already there ?

A deutz 6180 , third deutz and we've been under the seat umpteen times cleaning out the radiator and no difference, even the deutz mechanics them selves say the system is a waste of time and poorly designed.

Depends where the leak is. Job 1/2 done if the compressor and condenser are already there, fit an all in one evaporator/fan in the roof, connect with new flexi pipes, vac and gas and cool days!

Nit sure if it’s true but heard of some using propane to fill ac units. Nit sure if I’d be happy sat in a confined space if there was a leak buy at least youd be cool before the explosion. I buy the 14 oz cans of 134a from Walmart in the states. Can’t buy them here but never been stopped at the border with them.

Propane is a drop in replacement for R22 so not that useful for mobile AC. R134 "works" in old R12 systems if there's any of those still around. There are other easy to obtain alternatives to R134, but R134 is still easy to get, just a little more expensive than it was two years ago, $10 vs $4 for a 12oz can.
