13 tonne 360 hire with driver

Can anyone give a me a rate for a 13 tonner with driver per week.
Have to cost a job and cannot get a driver rate.

Not near as much as it should be! It’s hellish considering the price of the kit! Roughly 40pph though plus haulage

You will hire a machine around £400/450 a week.fuel 30/40 galls a day depending on work.drivers will want £15/20 an hour obviously all plus haulage.i think you may struggle to get an operated cost these days

Thanks all, just need to find a GOOD driver now.Thames Water hire plenty in but part of the reason I need to cost this job is that most of the drivers couldn't care a f!

Diggers at 80k plus any attachments, a 130 will burn 150L fuel, insurance, drivers wages £15 hour, holiday pay, van, fuel for van, good luck at £30ph

Its the goin rate round here for farm work anyway

We pay £42 hour in this area........... digger, good driver and fuel...............plus transport one way (about £200)

Have to back up @daveydiesel1 on this one. I can have a 13tonner with good driver all inclusive in the yard for £28 - £36 per hour depending on contractor. A shift is usually £50 - £75. Country is full of diggers.

What has shocked me is I need nearly 1000 cubic meters of topsoil to replace what has been trashed. Anyone care to quote SN6, organic!

30pph for a 13 ton machine? Are you having a f**king laugh...a 6-8 ton machine is 32pph which is hardly enough the way diesel and machine prices are!

It’s true though. Often the 13 tonner is actually closer to 15 tons too.

Couple of years back now but I was told one firm hired a 13t and man out for approx £2k per week - 5 full weekdays (9 hrs I think) and a half day (5 hrs) on Saturday. So works out at £40/hr. Think that included minimal haulage too (approx £75 each way).

They tracked 700 meters to mend 7 bursts on a 900mm pipe between July and Christmas!

@daveydiesel1 is about right 25/pH round these parts, some charge more some charge less, some are good operators some aren't. The country is littered with men and diggers. Was looking for a digger myself for a while, but cheaper to hire in currently.
