Who makes one of these? We’ve got a JS130 which has been great but got an ongoing job where we’d be better with a blade as well so I’m thinking of swapping it. I’m looking used though.

I think most makes will have it as an option just not many about to choose from. I had a Hyundai with one.

Don’t buy a 2nd hand ex hire machine with one,it’s tracking and motors will be wrecked, the main design is for stability and anchoring not dozing.
takeuchi seem to fit them more than others.

Sure you can spec a blade on any digger.kobelco made a machine called a blade runner a few years back for land scaping and golf courses.was a 21 ton undercarriage with a 13 ton turret on the top and blade on the front.360 diggers are not built for pushing and if used continually I’m sure the drive motors will suffer

One of our local contractors speced them on Volvo 13ton. Very neat machine, I had a short drive and very nice and precise to operate. He uses the blade for light clearing up and leveling. One of his drivers would not use it as "proper drivers don't need a blade". He rolled his eyes when telling me. 😂

Neighbours have a cat 312 with a blade. I wouldn't want a 13t without unless I had a tilting hitch or tilt rotator blades are very handy for levelling the machine up

If you do buy one with a blade change track motor oil every couple hundred hours as a minimum.
It is handy to have but if you need to push a lot of material, hire a bulldozer as that’s what they are designed for.

Uncle has 2 with proper blades (like a dozer) ones a new Holland and the newer one a Kobelco I think. Does a lot of forestry tracks and it saves taking 2 machines.
