I'd have thought an ex-mod might have known where the classifieds were ...
Yep. And if I or any other was ADVERTISING, it would

It's a rare thing and I posted to draw attention

Or let's have an interminable round of should why should we not buy an Ifor and then still do so

Have a good day

Edit: and lo and behold it's now in the machinery section where no livestock farmers ever ventured..................

So it says

Hardly anything gets attention unless it gets reported , so it's been moved (you can see the category at the head). I posted it last night in Agricultural Matters and with the very specific point that I was not involved in any way in the original listing and posting for interest.

I can't say if it was @AftonShepherd that reported it or PM'd someone to wake up but there you go

Livestock folks are like grease guns, they just don't commonly appear in this section

Plenty of other things that do deserve some attention can pass by but there you go

I didn't report it, and I probably wish I hadn't commented but I was amused at the irony of an ex-mod posting an advert (regardless of whether it was their own or not) in the main Agricultural Matters section.

It wasn't intended to be in any way personal.

Fair enough, I don't take it personally

I'm just an ordinary member but I just thought there's more and more folks commenting they didn't know about stuff on Facebook. I don't know the seller but it was shared on FB and thought folks might be interested especially as a 14ft long model with details of the inside with pictures; the tray nylon brushes have been commented on before, ditto how the tray side walls might be when used single deck moving cattle. I think the insulated roof is standard although it's mentioned

Now it's languishing in a section where folks ask questions like a Haynes manual rather than livestock farmers

I was questioning your assertion that livestock farmers wouldn't see it here.

The plot: a member sees something of wider interest and posts it in a subject category which appeared to be appropriate.
No good deed goes unpunished. The result is criticism that the wrong silo has been chosen. Who cares?
How often do farmers criticise bodies like Red Tractor for their unnecessary regulation, lack of flexibility and silo mentality.
I say this having spent all morning sorting out my papers ready for RT inspection.
My broken needle policy remains though our recently retired former vet had told RT he had never come across such a thing in his whole professional career. But a fail it will be if it is not present.
I thank the OP for posting this item in the mainstream silo, and given he is not himself selling that trailer, I agree he made the right choice.
This has caused me to look at the FB post about the trailer sale and it made my (dull) day.
As said above if you don’t give a price / location / phone number (if you can) then see exactly what happens. That will run for ages dealing with people who have no intention of purchasing it. A serious buyer picks up a phone or otherwise makes a private contact.
