19th gear solenoid on a T7.200

Hi.
Just wondering where to find the 19th gear or C7 solenoid?
Gear is in and out and no amount of calibration seems to help, so I want to check the solenoid/wiring but the workshop manual doesn't have any info on it.
Thanks

On the power command,it is under the floor plate of the cab, back at the rear just about under the drivers seat. Both the 19th gear and the 19th dump solenoid are there. I believe it is also in the same location in the RC but the new holland online pets carol Ogie would confirm.

You could also try and have a play with the fill timings. Has it just gone like this quickly?

Solenoids will be the same as any of the gearbox pwm ones so you could try and swap them and see if it moves the problem.

If the renowned 19th gear bearing hasn't been done it wants replacing soon as possible. Our mechanic recommends it replaced at 5000 hours...for a few hundred pounds compared to 000's it takes the casting out when it's completely gone

Must get this done. Have you done one yourself? Thanks

Pulled both of them off and really badly corroded to the extent that the coil or coils may have been shorting.
Replaced both and everything seems to be ok so far.
Just got the 50k bearing to change now as the horror stories I'm hearing of not are expensive.
Thanks

I havent done it yet but will look to get it done on the next service . Another tip I got told was to keep plenty of oil in the backend...rightly or wrongly above the extra mark. We had a new propshaft, this year. Bearing went where it comes out of the casting....expensive enough job. There's a guy in Ireland and all the tractor he sells being t7 or case equivalent... he puts a grease nipple on this bearing as it's renowned to go...1 pump every 50 hours....

Yeah, Ive lost the 4wd bearing and it took out the housing and shaft. Not cheap. Must look at putting a grease nipple onto it. You can actually buy a complete kit for replacing this now when it goes, it must be that common a fault with them.

What is in the kit? You don’t have a link by any chance do you? Thanks
