Been a few changes here and the dairy is grazing for the 1st time in 10 years today

10 mins running round and they wanted to come back in

Have they defined 'graze' ? Can they go out to stretch their legs but still get majority of diet from tmr ?

Yes. Not a glorified loafing area, have to do so many days, hopefully have enough grass now, if not can plant more.

Out of interest was it a planned change or was your hand forced ? Liquid or solids contracts ?

Long term plan, 2 years ago I was on a contract that was not sustainable. I moved and was then offered this opportunity, knew from the start we would have to graze, have had to invest to meet other criteria but long term the business is in a much better place.
