2 agco dealers in same area??

I always thought there is a rule that 2 main dealers cannot sell same product in same area
RVW Pugh have depot in Market Drayton and in the Shropshire Farmer which arrived today I see KO Machines have just opened depot also in Market Drayton

There is a fair trade rule that they can all sell anywhere they like , or a customer can buy any where he likes , but the best organised cartel here is ran by class , no two class dealers will quote for the same deal to a farmer , this is illegal but class do it anyway. The cure is don't buy class .

KO Machines are only MF and Pughs only Fendt and Valtra at Market Drayton only.
Pugh s didn’t used to have the Valtra franchise anywhere, is this something new or as I suspect incorrect?

There was talk that Pughs were opening a new Fendt depot somewhere just north of Shrewsbury as AGCO no longer want multi brands in the same depot, must be at least 18 months since a pughs salesman told me that, haven’t heard anything since but I’d assume if it did happen market Drayton would go.
Allthough far more common than they used to be I’m surprised there’s enough sales of Fendt in the area to justify an extra stand alone depot with all the costs it will entail but I guess pughs don’t get a choice in that, only if they want to continue with the AGCO franchises.

there is two AGCO dealers in my county & both cross each others paths more so with other brands they both sell & funny enough 2 brands are tractors & one a german baling based outfit
Its called competition isnt it? Neither has a Machinery dealer near the other tho, thats poss where the diff is here.
Surely tho the customer can choice where & who he prefers to deal with?
Doesnt seem to concern the CAR industry

There's also a rule that a business can choose its customers, as long as the choice isn't based on race, religion or some other things considered racist.

Priced a Honda quad last couple of weeks and other dealers won't price a new one against our local dealer but happy to sell used
When have areas ever stopped Pughs selling anything, anywhere [emoji23]
Never bought anything from them but neighbours have and were very disappointed with back up. Probably on the outskirts of their patch but two weeks waiting for a fitter to come out to a broken down tractor under warranty

This is not correct. We sit between two dealers literally on the sales boundary of them both. We presently have two combine quotes sat on the desk. Same model and spec.
