Morning all,
Does anyone have any photos / diagrams showing the detail of the routing of the boom lock cable, from where it exits the cab on the rear right hand side all the way to the boom lock plate?
I have the service manual and access to the parts diagrams, but none of these show the full routing. The service manual basically says to route the new cable following the same path that the old cable took, which is great if the machine still had the old cable, which mine doesn't.
My best guess so far is that the cable routes behind the upper sideshift cross rail in to the central area where the hydraulic pipes from the backhoe control valves congregate, then up through the hole in the upper centre of the kingpost carriage, through the bracket and on to the lock plate. From exiting the kingpost carriage everything is obvious, it's just the routing from near the right rear wheel to the point that it enters the kingpost carriage.
Photos would be great, or detailed instructions that a 50 something simpleton couldn't possibly get wrong!
Many thanks in advance.
