hi. my fendt 818 has started deactivating cruise control. just wondering if anyone might know the problem?

fuel tank overflowing.....risk is it might start pushing fuel up into the block and so has activated a safety protocol.......it's slipping out of cruise control trying to be less efficient and burn fuel rather than produce it.......take some fuel outta tank

Deactivating randomly or when you try to activate it? If the latter try the switch on the exhaust brake pedal, can stick causing it to not allow cruise even though exhaust brake isn't activated

Can you re activate cruise when it drops out or does a symbol come up on dash .Try holding the clutch pedal up with your foot if this cures it you need to calibrate clutch pedal

Could be the clutch pedal not coming up far enough as well. One of ours does that , stick your toe under the pedal to give it a little lift. Am sure there is an adjustmentsomewhere.

I have had to replace a joystick with switches playing up. Think it was spools rather than the cruise

deactivating randomly. i just noticed it when driving on the road, the orange cruise control light goes out after a minate or so. but thanks everyone for the help

The things what kick cruise control out are, clutch switch, brake switch, exhaust brake, foot throttle and the joystick.
Clutch and foot throttle can easily be calibrated.
