340 claas, good loader tractor.

I was thinking of changing my powerfarm landini 95, it's an 08reg 4500hrs with a loader, it's been an OK tractor, l need a low roofed tractor, was looking at some of these claas for sale, thought if l got 10grand for mine and could get a 340 maybe 12reg for 22/24., pay vat and my tractor plus afew grand and pay the wrest up,.

This landini has a very heavy clutch and no power shuttle, lv a very sore knee caused buy a football injury years ago and that's the main reason, also it will need a new clutch soon, lv always like a 340 and they seem low roofed. Landini don't have a great secondhand value, so if l keep it much longer it won't be worth much eithet

Best have a go on a Claas then (to check clutch action) and take a tape measure to check roof height - there are 2 different cabs - one is low profile... A lot will depend on the condition of your Landini as to what it`s worth . Have you had it long and has it been reliable? Have heard of Powerfarm`s being good basic simple small tractor.

Axos low roof
With the low-roof cab, the AXOS (with 16.9 R 30 tyres) boasts an overall height of just 2.46 metres, delivering all the benefits of a high-comfort tractor even when deployed in low-ceiling buildings. Like the high-roof version, the low-roof cab features a flat cab floor and roof hatch / transparent sunroof.

Axos standard cab
With an overall height from 2.61 metres (with 16.9 R 30 tyres), the high-roof cab provides plenty of space. Enjoy the full comfort of CLAAS throughout those long days in the field. The wide-opening roof hatch or transparent sunroof provide additional ventilation.

Taken from a Class spec brochure..

Yes, with those tyres they are as low as the landini, my dream deal, get 11grand for landini, find a lowish 11,12reg, one with a loader for around 20ish, pay vat+2grand, pay the wrest up over 3/4year. Easier said than done.
