That takes me back- my great-aunts had a farm in Dorset and drove us round in an Austin Gypsy whenever we visited. They had a huge '50s Rover for trips out though and I reckon one worked the pedals while the other changed gear as they had various bits giving them trouble! :)

Did anyone ever drive an Austin Champ? My bro-in-law told me he drove one while working on the local road construction in the '60s and it had a Rolls Royce engine and would go at 50 both forwards and reverse :)

Mate reckoned they chewed the rear different somehow, B40 engine was good.
I know of a Humber 1 ton truck softskin with B60 Rolls Royce, don't think it starts though. :-(

2700....its a customers tractor, they want 3.5k for it

Told him il be setting tates on the moon before he gets 3.5k for a 4 cyl 35 in that condition

However...the 100% genuine, complete with brass factory plate ferguson single furrow deep digger plough that i entered for him, made it to £250!!!!!!!!!!!!!
£3,500 is ridiculous. It was a waste of fuel taking it there.

And it's done another 7 hours in the last 12 months.
Wonder if there's a picture hanging on a wall somewhere which ages, whilst the tractor itself gets younger....
