Brandon Lewis is not liked by the membership.
Apparently Branon Lewis does like the membership or, from his recently expressed opinions, many of the Parliamentary Conservative Party.

And going “ballistic”, to quote another member of this forum, is not a trait of leadership. Au contraire!!

By jove! We agree on something; my point entirely, he has it appears been, to use the vernacular, 'imposing his personality' which, regardless of whether TM wins, is not a general indication of being secure in one's post.

Whilst to be fair to TM, on the other hand, she has held a remarkable poise, displayed true tenacity, stayed the course, in the most difficult and trying circumstances imaginable. All whilst managing a most remarkably incompetent collection of ministers, as well as the permanent Tory sub committee for disloyalty and treason, where the names change but the cabal continues in ungracious perpetuity.
There are those who would have her replaced as head of the government by such protozoans as Boris or Mogg.
Talk about swapping decency and class, for crassness and mendacity.

May (no pun intended) she swat them to one side tonight. Ramp up the pressure on the house to pass her deal. Throw the DUP under the next bus.
Lead Britain out of the EU in a controlled and orderly fashion as indeed I think the people rightfully expected would happen when they ticked the fateful box.
Set the scene up for a future deep and comprehensive free trade deal.

The more I hear Theresa May's mates and remainers slagging off the ERG and associates, the more I'm convinced they've bunged in letters to bring this to a head and hope they've caught Boris, Mogg, etc on the back foot.
I hope it backfires on them.

It'll be interesting to see if May gets confirmed and they lose the "Meaningful Vote".

Well, I contacted my local MP today and he's voting against her (or so he says!!) was actually surprised to receive a reply. I bet she's ruing the day she called the election and lost her majority, good riddance to bad rubbish I say.
