4m folding combi drill /w rear tank

Hi folks,
Just wondering if anyone has a 4m power harrow folding pneumatic air drill with rear tank that isn't a Lemken they are using or know of one?

We are looking to move from 3m to 4m but require it to be a rear tank machine as we are working with more stones than soil and are running a stone fork on front of the tractor we cannot do without.

Ideally would like a machine with double disc and press wheels with a 12in stagger between front and rear discs and 5in spacing not 6in. Needs to be 4m for 24m tramlines currently. Needs to be folding due to a lot of road transport.

We have been looking at manufacturing our own 4m folding combi drill using a 4m folding Lemken power harrow (as it seems to have largest space in middle for fitting tank) and then adapting a following drill somehow.

Just wondering has anyone done it before or know of anyone? Pictures would be great if so.

Thanks,

James.

I think you need to be more fussy when your ploughing with your stone fork. We are in a similar situation but you don't want to be stopping and starting picking stones while sowing. Lemken is about the only option you have I think. Amazone is definitely not an option, my 4m folding powerharrow and coulterbar weights roughly the same as a 6m lemken folding powerharrow and coulterbar with a empty hopper.

the folding 4m lemkin combi drills I've seen are seriously heavy and need a large weight or press in the front to counterbalance. Will an empty stone fork be heavy enough?

Kuhn have made one in the past I've seen it on YouTube but looked to be on the continent but now I think lemken will be you're only choice apart from the long stagger on narrow spacing unless they're still getting someone to make up the long brackets in the uk

When we had a cultivator drill we would quite often run ahead with a couple of power harrows , one lemken and one amazone. Due to the extra rotors the lemken was a pain for dragging stones that the amazone could cope with . Both well made machines but the weight of a hopper on top , forcing that power harrow down puts me off a lemken . We now run an Amazone super with floating power harrow set up but only 3m .

Do you already run autosteer? , I'd think a 3m super with large hopper running autosteer and "tiger stripping" sowing so never reversing , would have similar daily out put to a 4m with no autosteer sowing with bout markers off one side
