750a seed pipe boots pulling off

Since I’ve had my 750a for five years I’ve always had to check the seed pipes every few acres due to them pulling off the steel seed pipe. What happens is the rubber flexible joiner that joins the air pipe to the steel seed boot pipe seems to slip off the steel pipe. Despite the rubber joiner having those sprung steel round clips the pipes still pull off.
The problem is getting worse presumably as the rubber joiner loses its strength or the tubes are worn and slippier. Is it that my air pipes were cut a fraction short in the first place or does everyone get this happen. Is it best to change the rubber joiners and use a jubilee clip instead or is there a better fix?

+1 for the jubilee clips. Normally you only get a couple of the repeat offenders that need the jubilee clip solution.
