A B P Cattle Grid

Woodheads will kill bulls, they will take suckler bred bulls but as others have alluded to, they want them fit, a 3 at ABP will be a 2 at Woodheads, so basically is a no no for the extreme continental types.

Makes sense as to why they like the stabiliser bulls then, they are certainly fatter.

Base would have been around that figure last week, no doubt its down for next week again!

Talk is that ABP were turning away cattle the week before last as they didn't want all they were offered..

I was also told today that the grading has improved a lot the last week/two weeks, people still don't seem happy but it sounds a step in the right direction!

And just to give the store cattle buyers on here some xmas cheer I will post todays trade at sedge in the price section!

Still waiting for them to "do something" about some O= grades that should have been R's. I'm not chancing anything else in there for a while, till they've sorted themselves out. I've done my bit as guinea pig for them. I'd rather belly clip cattle than be taken for a fool. (And I hate clipping!)
